Requirements: The Senior Manager, Product Implementation will have 10 plus years of insurance industry experience and 5 plus years of project management experience, working with financial/insurance products, preferably health products with a major group health carrier or equivalent combination of education and experience. Description: Background: Implementation Manager As a leading provider of healthcare and insurance, CLIENT prides itself on being an innovative pioneer in the health services industry. The Senior Manager, Product Implementation will be integral in this transition, by supporting the implementation of a dynamic and strategic product portfolio across all products and all lines of business. Working closely with the Director of Strategy and Product Innovation, the Senior Manager, Product Implementation is accountable for driving all product implementations for all Ancillary Group dental, vision, stop-loss, and life products to help achieve aggressive profitable growth goals. The incumbent must effectively implement a product portfolio in support of all CLIENT lines of business. This position requires the building and managing of a strong partnership with all product managers and various corporate resources supporting product integration with medical products including but not limited to those managing legal and regulatory compliance, marketing, sales and operations. Legislative and/or regulatory directions must be constantly monitored to anticipate the best use of resources and modify priorities to meet the changing market. The Senior Manager, Product Implementation will perform a critical role with the product team in defining and leading the implementation of the overall strategic direction for the Ancillary Group products including market segmentation, service and feature development, margin improvement, creation of the value proposition, positioning and marketplace analysis. Critical responsibilities for this role will include: A) In Partnership with the Ancillary Product Team: . Support product revenue, organization impact, partner satisfaction and customer satisfaction goals . Be the primary operational point of contact for the first 3-6 months of a product's lifecycle as well as managing post-launch improvements, additions and expansions. . Participate in and implement action items from various legal and regulatory compliance committees within Blue Shield of California. . Person will be responsible for improving and expanding existing procedures for gathering needed information, product requirements, legal restrictions and operational issues and creating an implementation plan for appropriate team members to implement. . Work closely with counsel on all related legal and regulatory filings for new and existing products. . Position works very closely with Corporate and Ancillary Product Managers and Business Unit Directors. . Manage and refine the process of bringing new products live and the process of expanding existing offerings . Act as the primary implementation contact for organization . Scope projects, develop workplans and staff projects . Work with Marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans for new products . May develop and participate in the delivery of staff training for new products . Organize and hold team meetings, as required. . Track the need for product updates/additions/removals as needed (Pipeline). . Serve as primary liaison between Product Management and CLIENT organization and maintain the official timeline of new products/services introduced. . Responsible for assigning and coordinating resources needed to accomplish tasks needed to accommodate changes/new products and updates. . Responsible for managing multiple, shifting priorities and expectations to meet business plan. . Provide Marketing and others with new information re: product content changes. Reporting Structure: The Senior Manager, Product Implementation will report directly to Leesa Tori, Director of Strategy and Product Innovation, Ancillary Group. IV.
