EXPERIENCE * At least 7 years MS SQL Server development experience * At least 1 year experience in Insurance and Financial services * Experience in implementing standards and procedure in SQL work while mentoring less experienced resources * Understanding of Data Warehouse Architecture and Data Modeling is desired, but not necessary (OLAP & OLTP) * Expertise in SQL stored procedures and ability to tune SQL queries * Knowledge with parallel processing is a plus * Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities * Strong analytic and problem solving skills * Experience with source code change control process and tools * Comprehensive knowledge of standard system development life cycles principles and system development methodologies required * Must be proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Project, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint and ERWIN or equivalent data modeling software.
