Required:
· Must have two years of experience with 4th generation language
development tools (Pass/Fail)
· Must have two years of experience in:
· Developing large mission critical applications using Client/Server
implementation (Pass/Fail)
· 3-Tier design, development and deployment including RAD/JAD
methodology (Pass/Fail)
· knowledge transfer, transition of systems and mentoring
(Pass/Fail)
· Intra/Inter Net deployment (Pass/Fail)
*Desirable Experience Preferred *
· Good communication and interpersonal skills (Interview) (20
points)
· Minimum four (4) years demonstrated experience with Scripting
and/or Programming Languages: XML, HTML, Visual Basic.net, ASP.net, SQL,
Java, Cognos Scripting & SDK, and ETL tools. (5 points)
· Minimum four (4) years demonstrated experience programming in
databases using PL/SQL or Transact SQL, including optimizing SQL queries
using PL/SQL, SQL tools and/or Cognos tools. (5 points)
· Minimum five (5) years demonstrated experience authoring and
developing metadata models and reports using the Cognos 8 suite of software
tools. This experience should include developing packages, reports and cubes
in Cognos 8, as well as converting Cognos 7 Impromptu catalogs and reports
and Power Play cubes to Report Net and/or Cognos 8. (20 points)
· Minimum five (5) years demonstrated experience interacting with
both technical and non-technical reporting project stakeholders and
participants, such as database administrators, program area mgmt & staff,
and end-users for the purposes of both requirements gathering and
training/mentoring. (10 points)
· Minimum five (5) years experience implementing reporting
application security including integrating external LDAP. Experience must
also include implementing complex security filters within Cognos packages,
as well as object-level, report and folder-level security using Cognos
administration tools such as Cognos Access Manager. (20 points)
· Minimum five (5) years experience in administration and technical
support of Cognos reporting tools and infrastructure (including software
installation, server and environment configuration, configuring reports and
to maximize performance, and environment support) including recent
experience with Cognos 8 infrastructure in a 3-tier, multi-server
environment. (20 points)
