*Job Description*:
The client is *not* looking for functional QA testers but rather performance
testers and people who are highly technical who can test the software before
it goes to QA. This person will be responsible for going into the black box
and making sure that everything is “talking” properly. The candidates the
client has been phone interviewing or resumes we are seeing are more on the
functional test side.

*Specific tasks include:*
The ISE is currently recruiting a dynamic individual to join us as a System
Integration Test Engineer. The qualified individual will be responsible for
designing, documenting, and executing system integration tests. The
qualified candidate must possess strong communication, technical, and
leadership skills. Responsibilities to include: - Design system integration
tests - Generate system integration test plans - Execute system integration
tests - Analyze and document test results - Work efficiently with software
development teams - Communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary
technical teams - Effective use of in-house and 3rd party tools for testing.
Required Skills : -
· Strong software system testing background –
· Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux
· Effective analysis skills - Ability to resolve issues
independently
· Excellent communication skills - Knowledge and experience with
Software Development Life Cycle methodologies.
· Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g. TCP\IP, Multicast,e
etc)
· Relational database and query composition
· Demonstrate leadership abilities
· Experience with high throughput \ low latency trading systems a
big plus
· Messaging software a plus : 29West, Tibco, MQ - FIX protocol
knowledge a plus.
