I would appreciate any help on the below mentioned requirement. * * * * *Title:* Basel Consultants – DWH/DBA, SME, Project Manager *Location:* Petersburg, PA *Duration:* 6+ months *Rate:* Open *F2F INTERVIEW REQUIRED* *CANDIDATES WITH EXTENSIVE BASEL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED* *Position 1: DWH/DBA* - Data Modelers, and then DBAs to build the data warehouse - Need people who know *Data Dictionaries/Meta Data* (which is basically data that describes the data) - People who can coordinate developing interfaces between the DW and purchased products such as the Moody’s suite - Candidates should also be *good at coordinating and installing the Moody’s products* (or equivalent). - Also important is an overall *Testing coordinator. * - Data Quality is big with the regulators. *People with Data Mining skills* are good here - Need to *identify all fields that are Basel-related*, how they affect the regulatory end reporting - Each of these fields need to be scrutinized in terms of their origin, which systems they go thru, how they get transformed/morphed into different values, etc - Typically, fields that end up on reports that go to the regulators (e.g. Call Reports) go through many systems - AIRB companies must demonstrate that the *value of those fields are not compromised* as they go from their origin, then from system-to-system, then to the reports - Then there’s data clean-up *Position 2: Business SME* - *Credit Risk Modelers* are needed (assuming models either don’t exist in all aspects, or are not *AIRB compliant*) - People who can write Policies and Procedures - People who can develop and document *processes and procedures for Risk Management* group and Line of Business to achieve Sustainable Process for data quality - Also, *Auditors are very important* as well as an independent review team (*Basel paragraph 443* speaks to this, and regulators are big on it) - Business Analysts (BAs) are very key. *BAs need to understand Credit Risk and Basel*, and know how to document into tech requirements - Need someone for *Change Management* (which is basically developing training and roll-out plans for the new stuff) *Position 3: Project Manager* - Need overall coordinator - Articulate project schedules and be on top of work stream interdependencies - Need to *maintain a SharePoint site* (or equivalent) containing all documentation and related deliverables from the project plan tasks - Need to report status to execs - Need to establish *project oversight and Governance Structure* – very big to the regulators Make it a great day J -- Thanks and Regards, Aj Technical Recruiter ========================================================================================= 3 L’Amour CT, Dayton, Jersey City, New Jersey – 08810 | P: 201-204-3382 | F: 201-603-1326 | Web: www.augustuss.com Yahoo IM : [email protected] ============================================================================================================================= Disclaimer: We respect your Online Privacy.
