*PC Applications Support Developer *
*Duties*:
The PC Applications Support Developer will* support and maintain* existing
and newly implemented PC and WEB based applications. This position is for a
senior level experienced developer who has* experience with and is
comfortable correcting existing code. * The selected person will be part of
the Production Support team that supports all EOT - Registry of Motor
Vehicles application systems. The developer is expected to provide
resolution to trouble tickets, satisfy ad-hoc requests and* perform bug
analysis and problem resolution quickly.*
*Qualifications (Listed in order of importance):*
- Strong research and analysis skills for problem resolution
- Working knowledge of MS-Access, VB, ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, Web
Applications and Web Services using VB.Net
- Ability to multitask and work in an environment of rapidly changing
priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Oracle and Access databases
- Experience using Visual SourceSafe
- Ability to work individually or within a team in a fast paced
environment
- Ability to share on call support during work hours, Monday through
Friday
*Preferred Qualifications (Listed in order of importance):*
- Visual Basic 5.0, 4.0 and 3.0
- VB.NET <http://vb.net/> 2005/2008
- MS-Access 2000, 97 and 2.0
- Oracle (9i/10g/11g)
- Crystal Reports
- Microsoft operating systems
*Nice To Have Qualifications:*
- ‘C’
- Experience using PVCS
