Can design, configure and implement and install WCF services; and guide others in same. 2) UML design experience. Can maintain the Enterprise Architect Class and Component diagrams and keep these in sync with the code as it is being written. 3) Will perform C# code reviews for adherence to coding guidelines and has awareness of best practices and guidelines. Will independently review code and make suggestions for improvements where necessary. 4) .net Winforms experience. 5) Java knowledge. 6) Infragistics would be nice. Technology Ability to understand UML notations and component design. Knowledge of Enterprise Architect tool is a plus. C# .NET preferably working knowledge of .NET 3.5 language features such as LINQ Good working knowledge of WCF Services including deployment as a windows service and troubleshooting A good understanding of industry standards and best practices to be able to conduct code reviews Basic knowledge PL/SQL to be able to create and troubleshoot oracle stored procedures Knowledge of Team foundation server for source code management. Familiarity of .NET automated build setup is a plus Other Skills Knowledge of media industry, in particular ad sales is a definite plus Should be able to lead other team members and be able to manage tasks and activities Basic Function: The Application Architect will develop and communicate the detailed technology architecture and implementation strategy for a solution to the client and project team. The Application Architect must understand business objectives, translate them into application design, transition the application into operational status, and assist with application support and maintenance. The Application Architect will be part of the Application Architecture Team and will work with the Enterprise Architecture Team, project leads, technical staff and vendors. They will need to lead and mentor technical development teams. Utilizing standards, processes, and best practices put forth by the Enterprise Architecture Team, they are expected to assess the business needs, acquire product and business process knowledge, and use the information to deliver the best solution. They will need to communicate critical technical choices, specify requirements and constraints for design and implementation, scope the level of architectural effort, assess team strength, and keep activities in synch with practical delivery and business value.
