*Location: Ft. Worth, TX* *Length: 12/2009* *Rate: 40/hr* *Rerequirements: Airline industry* * WEBSPHERE Platform* The successful candidate will be working on the *Jetnet Portal Replacement project*. The project encompasses the migration our existing employee portal (Jetnet) to a *WebSphere platform*. Specifically, the successful candidate will be documenting requirements for the following functional components: Search; Content Management/deployment; Personalization; Design/Templates and Web Analytics. Responsibilities • Work closely with IT groups to gather requirements • Conduct Joint Application Development (JAD) workshops for new development and commercial off the shelf solutions • Document (functional, non-functional and business rules) requirements following AA SDLC standards - using techniques such as use cases • Work on ad-hoc projects for the program such as Business Process Modeling • Contribute to project status reports • Provide *analytical support *for the project Qualifications • Eight or more years experience working on large scale projects as a Requirements Analyst • Experience with *portal/web based applications *required • Demonstrated aptitude for documenting requirements • Ability to understand technical development projects, and work closely with a highly skilled technical team focused on portal/web-based applications • Proven facilitation skills • Familiarity with eliciting and capturing requirements for commercial off the shelf solutions • Enthusiastic about their job and able to work with diverse groups of business and technology partners • Ability to build strong alliances and reach effective solutions with internal customers and external parties • Strong leadership and organizational skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple dependencies • Creative thinker and problem solver -- Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
