Position : WebSphere Administrator
Location : Raleigh NC
Duration : 12 Months
Required
· 5 plus years supporting WebSphere products, specifically,
WebSphere MQ, including MQIPT and WebSphere Message Broker, including
topology design, security aspects and configuration
· Knowledge of WebSphere Transformation Extender,
WebSphereApplication Server and
WebSphere Partner Gateway is a plus
· In-depth knowledge of Tivoli OMEGAMON
· Knowledge of IBM ESB architecture is desired.
· Strong understanding of Mail protocols like SMTP, X400, TYPEB is
required.
· Understanding of TCP/IP and X25 (is a plus) communication
protocols
· Shell Script programming in UNIX/LINUX environment is a must.
· Confident in JAVA or other programming languages
· Practical knowledge of Subversion or other Source Control
packages
· Must be able to use UNIX/LINUX development tools (e.g. grep,
find, cc, tar, awk etc.).
· Must be familiar with UNIX/LINUX operating systems (e.g. AIX and
Red Hat LINUX).
· Good written and oral communications skills is required.
· Strong organization and good interpersonal and team working skills
is required.
· Must be a fast learner and willing to take training courses where
necessary
· Must be able to work in a team environment.
· Must be able to finish tasks with minimum supervision.
