Job Title : EMC Storage Location : SFO,CA Duration : 6+ Month Contract Rate : OPEN Requried Skills & Duties : 1)6-8 years in a storage/technology environment. 2)Strong consultative skills 3)Cross-Functional skill 4)Proficiency in EMC hardware, software and/or operating systems environments 5)Knowledge of job associated programming and scripting languages. 6)Possesses strong product/technology/ industry knowledge 7)Knowledge of job associated databases/software/documentation Symmetrix DMS CLARiiON Cisco MDS-9000 Ownership of operational responsibility and availability. Provisions storage based on standardized procedures Responsible for configuration, layout and performance tuning of storage infrastructure. Plans, coordinates, and is responsible for the execution of the business continuance and disaster recovery plans. Participates in the design and operational execution of the Amgen's storage disaster recovery process as required. Performs necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with EMC and Amgen's change management policies. Performs necessary data migration as required and defined by Amgen's migration practices. Responsible for configuration, layout and performance tuning of storage infrastructure. Performance tuning in the environment when needed. Generate Regular operations reports using customer supplied tools.
