Desired Start Date: Immediate Estimated End Date: 2/10/2009 *The Technical Lead is responsible for work stream management with primary responsibilities including:* - Leading an implementation team to a technical vision and plan for a successful web applications implementation. - Interaction with senior client leadership to establish project goals, execute against plan and identify and manage issues and risks. - Leadership of all technical planning and architecture tasks, including configuration management, software design and development, application integration, data migration, data base monitoring and certification activities. - Project technical execution including planning, technical leadership, deliverable preparation and review, schedule monitoring, and risk/issue management. - Actively building and maintaining COMPANY brand as a leading healthcare organization in Michigan. - 10+ years of professional experience in private/public sector in consulting with system implementation is required. ยท Proven record managing the technical tasks of deploying a consumer facing web application which includes role based access to internal and external stakeholders. - Technical planning, design and architecture, including actively engaging with Enterprise Architecture, network and technical standards teams within the organization - Hands-on experience managing application hosting environments (development, test, production, etc.), configuration management, redundancy, performance testing and defect management and resolution - Knowledge of clustered applications and multiple back-end integration environment is preferred - Knowledge of data mapping and system integration - Experience with data migration from legacy systems - Experience in the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with extensive knowledge of implementing Java based applications using RUP and Hybrid methodologies for extensions and or moderate to heavy integration layers to COTS products required - Expertise in all elements of test design and management, including unit testing, regression testing, performance/load testing, security testing and user acceptance testing - Knowledge and experience with application security requirements and HIPAA guidelines - Possesses superior client relationship skills - Exceptional written and verbal communications skills - Problem solver, Self starter, team player - Experience in developing project plans in MS Project and resource loading based on standard RUP/Hybrid phases is a unique plus and is a must have. - Experience performing business analyst duties as follows is also highly desirable. - Working independently within guidelines, provides analytical support to a specific group of customers on business applications, infrastructure and technology related activities. - Acts as a key project team member, specifically in requirements definition and testing activities. - Provides guidance, assistance, coordination and follow-up on complex problems and ensures resolution. - Assists customers on their migration to new or revised products, applications and platforms. - Extensive creativity required across areas of expertise. - Directs quality control and auditing to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data. - Extensive creativity required across areas of expertise. - Consults on a wide spectrum of existing and emerging technologies and associated services and processes. - Evaluates compliance with the organization's technology standards. - Guides and consults with IT management and technical staffs regarding use of emerging technologies and associated services. - Participates in the evaluation, selection and application of new and emerging tools and techniques. - Bachelor's degree required. - Master's degree in related field preferred.
