*Location: Eagan, MN* *Rate: $40-43/HR * *MUST BE Local to MN* ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Primary skills:* Backend infrastructure group, capture transactions to build events, core java, java script, agile background, HTTP Messages, Heads down coding, Mapping. *Secondary Skills:* Data Schema, Apache Server (some experience), Java, JavaScript, Eclipse, Spring, XML, JUnit, Java Concurrency, REST, SQL and several open source tools and design patterns, HTML DOM & Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) *Job Description:* - Backend infrastructure group, capture transactions to build events - use these events to build user experience and profile future usage Strong Java developer - core Java, Java Script Agile Background - will do pair programming (Agile term for working with another developer) HTTP Messages Heads down coding Mapping Data Schema Apache Server (don't need to be an expert, some experience is good) *Primary Responsibilities:* • Participate in the full life-cycle of software development; including analysis, design, implementation and testing of new projects and features using the following technologies: *Java, JavaScript, Eclipse, Spring, XML, JUnit, Java Concurrency, REST, SQL and several open source tools and design patterns.* *• *Collaborate with architects and technical leads on design decisions and direction.** • Contribute to project development estimates and timelines. • Work collaboratively with others in a team-based environment and serve as a mentor to less experienced developers. • Generate innovative approaches and solutions to technology challenges. • Effectively balance and prioritize multiple projects concurrently. *Minimum Qualifications* • Four-year degree in Computer Science or a related field • 7+ years of experience in the software development field • Experience with *Java, J2EE and object-oriented analysis and design principles* • Experience *designing and developing web based applications using Java, JavaScript, Spring, XHTML, Eclipse, CSS, HTML* • Proven track record of being able to solve complex problems independently and to seek out and generate innovative solutions • Very strong interpersonal and communications skills including both oral and written proficiency (must be able to present effectively to a wide variety of audiences including development teams and partners within the business unit) • The ability to present complex technical topics to a non-technical audience • Experience and\or a willingness to work in a fast paced Agile software development environment *Preferred or Desired Qualifications* • Experience in other relevant technologies: *Linux and/or Unix, Spring, Servlets, Ajax, REST, XML and XSL/T, Shell scripting, Team Foundation Server, Berkeley DB, JUnit, and Test Driven Development (TDD), Mock Frameworks, SVG* • Quick learner, eager to leverage new technologies in a dynamic team environment. • Ability and willingness to provide input for the implementation of new practices, processes and tools to improve our agile development • *Familiarity with HTML DOM & Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)* • Previous experience performance tuning and profiling enterprise Java applications a plus. *Optional Skills:* Linux and/or Unix, Spring, Servlets, Ajax, REST, XML and XSL/T, Shell scripting, Team Foundation Server, Berkeley DB, JUnit, and Test Driven Development (TDD), Mock Frameworks, SVG * * *Thank you and have a great day,* ** Kavita Singh *Sr. Technical Recruiter* <http://www.webzion.com/>[email protected] <[email protected]> * *** --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ORACLE DWH DBA" group.
