The Support Manager will manage a remote international (India/China) support team of 19+ Level 1 and Level 2 support resources. The resource must be able to manage GR resources. Must have experience w/service level 1 and 2 help desk. *The scope of this project is to provide Level II services for a 2 year period for the following products: WebSphere Application Server WebSphere Portal Server WebSphere MQ Series WebSphere Message Broker WebSphere Services Registry and Repository Omegamon in support of MQ Series on z/OS* Level II support includes the following middleware product support services: Perform daily, weekly, monthly operational administration Proactive prudence and Tuning Incident and Problem resolution Problem Escalation General Administration support tasks Change Management tracking including support for releases and versions Backup and Recovery procedures End-User Support for product usage Product installation and configuration for existing projects Product upgrades and fixes scheduled by the customer support staff Product fixes required to resolve problems The work must be done on site Monday- Friday and rates are all inclusive.
