*Duration: 6 + Months * *Rate: DOE* * * *Total Exp: 8+ years* * * *Minimum Requirements:*** *Years Skills/Experience* *8 Ensure testing environment meets the demands and rigors of the operational environment and handles unexpected conditions by producing a relevant, complete and accurate response.* 8 Involvement with all *test stages to ensure the* *quality of the software product and manage change requests.* 8 Development of test beds for all stages/types of testing: Pre-Testing, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing, 8 Through understanding of the principles of testing including: Purpose, Performance Testing, Elements of Testing, Repeatability, Test Environments, Test Design, Test Data, Test Case, Test Plan, Test Scripts, Test Results, Test Log, Support Documentation, Test Failures, Testing Tools, 8 Creation of testing strategies to address process, roles and responsibilities, format of the test, describe the testing environments, type of testing and how the testing will be conducted. *6 Defining test scope, techniques and responsibilities for assuring the quality and serviceability of changes to existing systems or the introduction of new systems to the Agency, including new systems and maintenance to existing legacy systems. 4 Development of Test Plans and Test Approaches, including defect tracking procedures and progress reporting procedures, Test Execution and Test ExecutionTest Team Roles and Responsibilities and* *Resource planning.* *Description:* *4 Critical Success Factors, Test Tasks and Roles, Test Deliverables and Success Criteria.* 4 Customer collaboration to analyze business requirements and perform technical analysis. 4 Responsible for, or assistance with, activities during all phases of the system development lif1ecycle (design, code, test, implement, and maintain). 4 Business Requirements Analysis, facilitation and documentation. *4 Development of application enhancements, conducting unit tests and resolving production problems or performance issues, including on-call responsibilities outside normal office hours/days to resolve production abends is required.* 4 Through understanding of the overall organization of the test process, the principles, procedures, and tools to be used and the conditions under which the testing process can terminate, including providing guidance on what should be considered in determining the specific test strategies for a project or an application’s changes. * 2 Planning, scheduling and documenting projects as Team Lead using structured methodology.* *Preferences:* Years Skills/Experience *2 Knowledge of TWC Workforce Programs, Benefits, etc. *2 Development and maintenance of *Natural/Construct applications in an IBM OS/390 mainframe environment. *2 Development and maintenance of *COBOL applications and including JCL, SQL, TSO/ISPF in an IBM OS/390 mainframe environment. 1 DB2 v7 or higher 1 Creation and loading of databases* *1 Creation and review of test documentation including system test scripts, test instructions, scheduling and document defects.* Please respond with *Resume, Rate and Phone numbers* of the Consultant.
