The role will support VMWare ESX, Terminal Server, Citrix, Active Directory, Patchlink, etc. The System Administrator should resolve complex hardware and software integration issues, interfacing with database administration, software development, network support personnel, and vendors to coordinate solutions. Provide guidance to junior level staff when necessary and create periodic status reports for management. Skills Senior experience in Windows 2000/2003 Administration and HP/Compaq Proliant servers (e.g. Proliant DL320-DL585). Must possess technical knowledge in various disciplines to resolve complex infrastructure integration issues and problems. Software Expertise: Windows 2000, 2003, 2008 – various editions, IIS, Veritas NetBackup, HP Insight Mgr., Virtual Servers hosted on VMware ESX, , Patchlink, Symantec End Protection (Anti-virus), MS Terminal Server, ODBC, FTP, TCP/IP, HP RDP, Microsoft WDS/MDT/SCCM, BMC Patrol, BMC Remedy.
