Database Administrator Job Description- • Design the basic logical and physical structure of the database. • Develop database specific code including work plans and estimates for assignments. • Perform database installations, upgrades, and conversions. • Plan and create tables and other database objects • Maintain databases including running/verifying backups, analyzing statistics, ensuring database integrity and creating database and file system space. Qualifications: Job Requirements: Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent education and work experience combined. • Sybase database experience •Knowledge of database administration, database programming and systems analysis procedures. Preferred Qualifications: Oracle and Mumps/Cache experience preferred.
