*Application production support position*. Required skill set is 2 years
prior Unix production support experience with Tibco products (preferred) *on
UNIX and Web servers in production *enterprise network, applications and
environments. Will support applications using Tibco EMS, ATG, Weblogic or
Websphere, Hawk, BW, RV, and administrator. *Strong UNIX skills* including
shell scripting, sed, awk, etc, is required. Will be on-call 1 week out of
the month requiring off hours support, so the hiring manager is looking for
candidates who have had prior experience where he or she has been *responsible
for 24/7 maintenance of a Unix application and servers in development, test
and production environments.*

*Qualifications**:*
Great troubleshooting skills, experience providing 24x7 production
support *to Java applications* on UNIX.
Strong UNIX administration experience
Scripting experience
Ability to write queries in a database
Previous experience with any of these: BEA WLS, Tibco EMS, Tibco
BW, Tibco RV, and Tibco Hawk, ATG, Weblogic or Websphere
Good cross team collaboration skills
Persistence in bringing technical problems to resolution
*Responsibilities: *
Responsible for providing technical system solutions and
determining overall design direction.
Provide technical leadership and will be responsible for the
technical integrity within a subsystem or application.
Also provide technical expertise to generate maintainable, quality
solutions. Includes documenting system requirements, creating application
designs, validating high level designs to ensure accuracy and completeness
against the business requirements and programming the solutions.
Attend project meetings when technical advice is needed and
communicate the project design to other architects.
May resolve design issues and develop strategies to make ongoing
improvements that support system flexibility and performance.
Assess the technical feasibility of new technologies to enable
integration into existing processes.
*Any prior experience with cellular and/or wireless mobility is a huge plus!
