SQL Server DBA/Windows System Admin Qualifications: * 3+ years of Microsoft SQL Server administration, including experience with: o Managing backups and recovery. o Mirroring and/or log shipping. o Clustering and replication. o SQL security. o Performance monitoring and troubleshooting. o Building TSQL queries and scripts. o Managing DTS and SSIS packages. o Managing SQL Server Jobs and alerts. * 3+ years of Windows Server administration, including experience with: o Building and installing Windows Operating systems on HP or equivalent server hardware. o Managing tape backups and recovery. o Managing Windows Security in an enterprise environment. o Understanding of Active Directory Security, DNS, DFS, and Group Policy. o Installing and managing IIS web services and applications. o Following build standards and procedures. o Windows Scripting, Powershell, Batch scripting. * Microsoft SQL Server certification preferred. * Microsoft Windows 2003 Server certification preferred. * Experience with Microsoft Biztalk Adminstration preferred. * Experience with Disk Arrays, Raid levels, SAN Storage preferred. * Experience working with Virtual Server and/or VMWare preferred.
