Role: AVAYA VOIP Engineer Location: Danville, IL Duration: 6months Rate: $Negotiable Employment: Contractual Major Duties and Responsibilities: 1) Designs, Implements and supports the telephony infrastructure including: Avaya CM, Avaya IP Phones, VoIP, Modular Messaging, CMS, Dialer solutions, and various Call Center applications. 2) Implements and maintains advanced telecommunication applications such as CMS, PBX software, call accounting and unified voice messaging. 3) Execute project work related to the Voice/Telephony support area during service interruptions with minimal supervision. This includes managing vendors and communicating status to the area supervisor 4) Performs routine system administration and maintenance on local or remote locations with no impact to the business. 5) Uses Avaya Integrated Management Suite of tools to monitor and troubleshoot network components or endpoints. 6) Keeps documentation up to date for all telecommunications systems such as toll free numbers, call center routing, trunking and voice announcement scripts. 7) Proactively analyses, troubleshoots and resolves telecommunications systems and circuit issues in a timely manner. 8) Responsible for creating and designing call reports and analyzes telemetry from unified messaging and CMS systems to include Report Designer. 9) Resolves open help desk tickets and verifies all issues were properly resolved and documented. 10) Co-ordinate with Remote Helpdesk teams and jointly working on resolving issues. 11) Interacts with end-users and all levels of management in developing solutions to problems or creating efficiencies pertaining to Telecom processes that impact business. 12) Answer questions and/or assistance relating to all aspects of voice/telephony related services. 13) Execute, lead and maintain user training on existing and new Telecom technologies. 14) Perform other related duties as assigned.
