Job Title: Software Development Engineer Location: Minneapolis, MN Duration: 10 months Short Description: *Ideally we need someone with SW experience with proximal telemetry. *The project is looking for a experienced SW engineer who has experience in building SW products as part of the embedded systems. Qualified Candidate must have: *5-7 years of experience with design implementation of SW systems in Embedded C *Software development experience in communication protocols, e.g., inductive telemetry, Bluetooth, or MICS band *Working knowledge of software development methodologies and Life Cycles, including use code management and issue tracking tools *Software development experience with Cortex processors family and uC/ OS-II operating system. *Software development experience in the regulated industries (e.g., avionics, medical devices) Project overview: *The project involves development of patient instrument products as part of Neuromodulation therapies. *These instruments will developed on the STM32 microprocessor and the uC/OS-II operating system platform using the Quantum Platform event driven framework. *The position will initially support the development of hardware and required software drivers to complete the hardware design followed by the development of user-centric software applications.
