*McLean**, VA*** *Rate: $45/hr* * * *JOB DESCRIPTION: * Developer will provide Java development and design. Responsibilities include both front-end and back-end detailed design, development, and unit testing of all code developed. Additional responsibilities include documenting code developed and fixing bugs in the development of the various applications. Mid-level developer will work independently on development tasks and perform detailed design with oversight. *EDUCATION: * Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience or 11 years experience in lieu of degree. * REQUIRED SKILLS: * *POJO *and J2EE component development as well as EJB, Servlets, JSP Java frameworks. JSP Java frameworks: preferred ones are Struts, Tapestry, JSF, Spring. Knowledge of ORM tools such as Hibernate or iBatis. Java-based development and configuration management: preferred ones are Eclipse; JDeveloper, Ant, JUnit, Rational, Subversion. Operating systems: Linux. Working knowledge of industry standard development practices and concepts: preferred ones are SOA, UML, MVC.
