Position : Java / J2EE Technical Lead Location: NYC
Duration: Contract to HIRE *We are looking for Java Technical Lead*** The Technical Lead of Streaming Media Services will focus on providing highly scalable services including authentication, personalization, and metadata services for consumption by internal and external consumers. This person will lead a team of 3-5 Sr. Java Developers and will be responsible for analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance of all core services required for Streaming Over IP. *Minimum Qualifications: * · BS/BA Degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent combination of education and experience · Extensive knowledge of industry-standard application frameworks, architectures, design patterns and standards. · 8+ years of experience with Java application development *Requirements and General Skills:* · Proven technical leadership providing highly scalable web applications and web services · Solid understanding of best practices in the areas of source control, continuous build, and automated testing · Demonstrable capabilities in the areas of requirements analysis, data modeling, and application architecture to ensure that the group's services are highly available and high performance, while also providing the flexibility required for a highly dynamic company · Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast paced environment · A natural inclination to both take initiative and to follow through on projects - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and public speaking and presentation abilities *Technical Skills:* · 8+ years of experience with Java application development · In-depth knowledge of core Java, JSPs, Servlets. · 2+ years experience with web application frameworks including Spring 2+ and Struts 2+ · Fundamental understanding of singleton and factory patterns and their impacts on application concurrency and scalability · 2+ experience with Hibernate and other Java ORM tools · 2+ experience with JAX-WS and JAX-RS implementation · Expertise in the Drools / JBoss Rules platform highly desirable · Experience with implementing SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) · Knowledge of Java SE 1.4 through 6, Java EE 5 · Good understanding of JMS, JDBC, and JTA and their proper use in robust back-end applications and services · Excellent skills working with XML schemata and documents, validation, parsing, and marshalling · Extensive experience with JBoss Enteprise, Weblogic 8+ and SJSAS/Glassfish enterprise application server clustering. · Experience working with Oracle 9i and 10g (light PL/SQL development ability a plus) · Understanding of LDAP concepts (experience with Sun Directory Server a plus) · Experience with ant, maven, cvs and/or svn, and issue tracking tools (JIRA a plus) · Comfort working with Solaris 9 and 10, including the ability to use tools such as grep, sort, and awk to perform troubleshooting including ad-hoc log file analysis · Light project and resource management skills (MS Project) *Best Regards* * * *Geetha* *Ksoft Systems Inc* Desk: 732-649-6485 Fax: 732-783-0432 Email: gee...@ksoftglobal.com <gee...@ksoftglobal.com%20%20%0dwww.ksoftglobal.com>** www.ksoftglobal.com <gee...@ksoftglobal.com%20%20%0dwww.ksoftglobal.com> :YIM geetha.softit1 [image: cid:image001.gif@01CA4B5F.42BD9EE0] *Certified - Small Business Enterprise * *Disclaimer: We respect your Online Privacy.
