Client needs 2 Functional Resources and a Project Manager

Role: Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Functional Consultant

Location: Greenville, SC USA
Duration: 6mths
Rate: $Negotiable
Employment: Contractual

Primary skills:

At least 4-5 yrs of experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
Installation & Implementation skills on Oracle Transportation Management
(OTM) and its associated modules and at least 2 life cycle implementation of
Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)/GTM-Global Trade
Management/FTI-Fusion transportation intelligence, Parcel implementation.
Experience on Integration of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)/GTM to
Oracle ERP on Inbound and outbound side and also integration to other
internal and external systems like freight carriers etc.

Secondary skills:

Understanding of logistics working and optimizations of routes/freights at
high level, Exposure to Oracle ERP-inbound/outbound and Understanding (from
functional perspective) of how BPEL/SOA architecture is leveraged for
integration of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) to other systems.

Req 2:

Description:
Role: SQL Server DBA / L3 Support
Location: Universal City, CA
Duration: 3-6months+
Rate: $Negotiable
Start Date: Immediate


Status: US CIT / GC

Mandatory Skills:

1) Minimum 6 years of hands on experience in managing SQL Server in
production environment.
2) Willing to work in a large High availability 24 X 7 site involving
complex SQL Server of OLTP / OLAP nature.
3) Should have excellent ownership & Sense of urgency nature to be able to
cater services to the business as per the SLA*s (Turn around times) defined
by the customer.
4) Should have excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Change Management :

1) Proactively monitor alerts being paged by Databases and fix them. Work
towards reducing the number of alerts by fixing the repeating chronic
issues.
2) Be able perform code moves / deploy new releases as per the Date & time
of execution.
3) Perform clones / Refreshes from Production to non production
environments.
4) Be able to perform New installations / upgrades / releases and follow the
process / security guidelines defined by the customer.
5) Provide support from a database standpoint during the planned outages /
Patching / Server moves.

Backup & Recovery:

1) Ensuring that Daily backups of all the databases are being successful.
Fix incase of any issues.
2) Perform Regular backup audits and Report to internal & External
Customers.
3) Being able to perform recovery (point in time / transactional ) depending
on the requirements.
4) Perform yearly SOX recovery tests for all the SOX Tier 1 Databases.

Performance Tuning:

1) Provide proactive & Reactive tuning support primarily for the
infrastructure issues.
2) Work with the customers in interms of providing the dashboards / metrics
over the performance calls.
3) Be able to use all the internal tools that Sybase and SQL server provide
for performing the performance analysis on the database.

Working knowledge on oracle database administration would be a Big plus.

Minimum Experience / Relevance: Total Experience : 8+ Years

Hyperion Implementation Experience: 3 to 5 projects
Skills (Mandatory): Hyperion Essbase, Planning (system 9 / 11)

Knowledge of:

1) Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) activities
2) Financial Consolidation processes

Roles and Responsibilities:

1) Lead project in an on-site / off-shore model
2) Drive requirement gathering sessions with business users
3) Drive design discussions and finalize design
4) Support development activities
5) System testing
6) Coordinate data validation
7) Support UAT
8) Support project manager in project management activities
