Title: Technical Project Manager Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 4 months Rate: Open Responsibilities and Deliverables: Performs a combination of the following duties according to departmental guidelines: -Clarify requirements and architect a solution based on provided requirements. -Document and provide the estimate to the assigned business Project Manager for the defined scope and requirements. -Act on approved estimates for development, including delegation to development team, as appropriate. -Produce and maintain development plan following Software Development Methodology standards -Responsible for development of Application Architecture and technical design -Must be able to convert requirements to technical design -Must review code developed delivered by developers. Where necessary may need to make some code changes. -Review Quality Assurance (QA) test plans for scope and requirements. -Perform unit testing, as needed, on developed solutions. -Address all Quality Assurance (QA) issues or delegate to development team, as appropriate. -Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the account group and, if desired by the PM and account group, with the client. -Finalize all documentation for sign-off and closure of the request. -Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Synovate technology architecture and development methods and practices. -Provide peer training as required. -Performs other essential duties as assigned. Working Relationships: Internal: -Works in support of the assigned Project Manager (PM) within the business. -Works with the PM and account group to clarify scope and requirements, providing documentation, as needed. -Works with the assigned PM to document and provide an estimate based on provided scope and requirements. -Works with the PM and individual developers on any issues identified in cursory review of scope after QA. -Works with the PM and the account group to support UAT with the account group, if required. -Works with the account group, the PM and the development team to close all required documentation. External: -Works with external Quality Assurance vendor(s) to review test plans for provided scope. -Works with external offshore resources to complete development. -Works with the PM and the account group to perform UAT with the client, if required.
