Required Skills:
AIX ARCHITECT
· Architect level experience in AIX 5.x and 6.x
· Around 8 – 10 years minimum hands on experience in AIX
administration, solution and architecture
· Should have good understanding of Power hardware and features
· Experience in writing build books preferred
· Experience of upgrading from AIX 5.x to 6.x huge plus
· Should be well versed with installation, configuration,
clustering, patching and performance tuning
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to collaborate with teams across different locations and
time zones
· Test compatibility of AIX 6.1 with the Honeywell IT infrastructure
· Document the build process in the build book
· Automate the installation using the AIX 5.3 build book as baseline
· Document best practice for migrating from AIX 5.3 to AIX 6.1
