Identifies, evaluates and develops solutions, systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Acts as a liaison between the user community and internal IT resources. This is a technically focused position and is generally seen as a progression from a development or analyst role. *System Analysis* o Has thoroughly demonstrated knowledge of the business processes in the Commissions, Sales Incentive Management space and/or Finance domains. o Interviews Business Partner end users to determine and document requirements for data integration, interfaces, business rules and reports. o Translate functional, product, or business requirements into functional / technical specification or use case documents. o Acts as a liaison between business and development teams, and shepherds projects through the design, build, and test phases. o Provides analysis support to development and test teams for assigned projects. This can include responding to ad hoc analysis requests and performing system test and defect triage. o Has thoroughly demonstrated knowledge of the application systems in Commissions, Sales Incentive Management space and/or Finance domains. Can identify, evaluate and define impacts of changes and provide alternatives. o Understands complex systems and dependencies between upstream and downstream systems. Generally assigned to Enterprise, cross-functional and cross-departmental projects with high complexity and cross-system impacts. o Has thoroughly demonstrated working knowledge to conceptualize, document and communicate innovative solutions to meet or exceed business objectives. o Provides input from high-level to detailed estimates for intake, projects, and change requests in area of responsibility. o Facilitate and participate in working sessions with cross-functional resources. o Ability to conduct peer reviews to solicit feedback on materials created. System Testing o Create Test Plans and Test Requirements Document o Perform QAT Testing of Technical deliverables. o Ability to write SQL queries to test results o Ability to create mock up data for testing. *Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:* * * Experience in writing SQL and understanding of ETL *Development Tools* Intermediate knowledge of XML and UML Assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio) Thorough working knowledge of various business process and system modeling tools including: Data Flow Diagrams, Process Models, ER diagrams, Dimensional Data Models, Context Models, Event Modeling, State Modeling, Process decomposition, and Use Case Scenarios Thorough working knowledge of the system development life cycle (SDLC) concepts Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills Effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments, create deliverables. Excellent communication and documentation skills are required.
