This individual is a strategist, designer and strong in multiple language and technology knowledge, with broad enterprise perspective and key responsibility for working with business leaders to translate the business strategy to the technical strategy and design. This individual is also focused on execution, working with the technical team to develop and implement the architectural design. This individual has both a breadth of knowledge as well as in-depth specialty technical knowledge. Essential Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Education, and/or Experience):* * · Four-year college degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline · Ten to fifteen years’ experience in technology field, with five to ten years’ experience as software architect · In-depth understanding of: solutions domain and relevant technologies; multiple software development processes; and architectural modeling/modeling frameworks · Experience with design patterns of SOA, n-tiered architectures, .NET and Java technology stacks · Strong OO fundamentals and expertise in at least one OO: C++ and/or Java · Ability to juggle multiple projects and course correct as business drivers change · Experience developing applications on Windows Server environments as well as working knowledge of Java technology · Ability to develop quick proof of concepts · Experience with messaging services (i.g.
