Develops database designs based on business requirements. Reviews and revises database designs and ensures that all technical and business requirements are met. Builds database structures based on detailed design. Performs database testing to ensure performance is met and compare with expected results. Provides support during the system implementation and production. Can work in a fast paced environment. other: Creates and maintains physical databases in both production and non-production environments. Support of junior DBAs in building Creates and deploys standardized database backup and recovery processes in supported environments. Contribute to the creation of documented patterns Builds and supports required database test environments for a project. Using standardized tools and processes to support database structure versioning. Provide input into test environment strategies to provide efficiencies across the enterprise Reviews SQL code and provides tuning suggestions for efficient database access. Suggest new features, coding techniques and reference material for more efficient code Maintains a deep understanding of database utilities and environment deployment strategy. Suggests improvements to existing strategy with knowledge of the environments Provides DBMS technical configuration and troubleshooting following existing patterns. Assists in creating configuration and troubleshooting patterns *Skills:* • Requires BA/BS in Computer Science or Information Systems. • *7 or more of industry experience required in database administration* • Requires detailed business knowledge, detailed technical design knowledge, knowledge of database administration techniques and database administration tools. • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required.
