*Job Title : P3 HTML/CSS consultant Location : Columbus Ohio Duration : 6+ Months Contract Local candidates preferred* Required skills: * JavaScript, jQuery (or equivalent) * HTML -- specific ability to write 'clean' html with proper separation of responsibilities between content, layout, and functionality * CSS * Java * End-user experience focused -- ease of use, value, clear/concise communication skills * Developing cross-browser solutions: ie 6, ie 7, ie 8, firefox, safari/webkit * Adaptable, quick-learning, can apply current knowledge to new technologies Preferred development practice skills: * Test Driven development -- specifically test driving javascript development * Agile development: pairing, collective code ownership, continuous integration * Version control system usage, merging code, etc. Good to have experience in any of the following: * Testing frameworks: junit, jasmine, jsunit, qunit, jspec, selenium, easyb, htmlunit * Any dynamic language: python, ruby, groovy, etc. * Continuous integration servers: hudson, continuum, cruisecontrol, teamcity, etc. * Web-page/site optimization techniques * Experience with both internally focused and externally focused web applications * (a bonus) any experience with iPhone/iPad/iOS/Android development Must be able to utilize prototypes, mockups, and wireframes to test, recommend improvements, and develop into fully functioning cross-browser internal and external web pages.
