Please)* Job Title :* ETL / J2EE Developer* Location : Charlotte, NC Duration : 4 – 6 months + contract *Skills:* *6+ years experience developing Object Oriented applications in a full SDLC environment, 3+ years recent experience developing with Informatica and/or DataStage, etc. * * Role:* Develop ETL processes using the Informatica and/or IBM Datastage platform; also required are OOP paradigm skills, as well as experience with J2EE APIs, protocols and development of multi tiered J2EE applications. Examples of current J2EE application program interfaces (APIs) are EJB, JDBC, JMS, JNDI, JTA, etc. Excel at analyzing functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions; recommends solutions that are aligned with business / IT strategies and complies with corporate architectural standards. Serve as SME in aspects of Informatica ETLs and J2EE application software. Resolve application and technical problems of the highest complexity. Provide mentoring and training to junior staff. Excel at working collaboratively with IT staff on development, troubleshooting, and other technical efforts. Translate business requirements into functional / technical specifications; ensures implementation of these specifications. *Required:* 3+ years recent experience de*veloping with Informatica and/or DataStage. * 6+ years experience developing *Object Oriented applications in a full SDLC environ*ment for a financial services firm (i.e., institutional/retail brokerage, bank, or asset management), with a minimum of* 5 years having developed applications with J2EE and Web technologies. * B.S. in Computer Science, MIS or Electrical Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
