Strong communication skills, both written and oral are required. *Requirement 3(DP0304-853)* *Title: Enterprise Network Architect* *Location: Milwaukee, WI* *Duration: 3+ months* * * *Description:* Conduct discovery of client network (includes current network equipment, application which ride on top of equipment, and uptime requirements) Develop a high level blueprint for the client’s redesigned network based on the requirements found in Discovery phase. Compare and contrast Affinity’s blueprint from three separate vendors proposals Client wants to focus on minimizing any outage by isolation, and resiliency. Conduct a disciplined approach to the analysis and development of deliverables. Deep understanding of Cisco and Juniper enterprise networking equipment (i.e. Nexus and QFabric a must). Enterprise Network leadership position (worked in roles leading the day-to-day tasks of a major project.) A bachelor’s degree preferred with a component related to Management of Information Systems (MIS) or Computer Science (CS). Ideally seven or more years of experience installing, configuring, maintaining and monitoring enterprise network management equipment. Understands the value of a multi-vendor solution for best in class solution. Display advanced knowledge of and practical experience in enterprise network architectures and should be proficient leveraging software tools, scripts and other automation techniques for gathering information about the existing network. Display advanced knowledge of using Visio to create an enterprise network blueprint. Demonstrate technical competency and experience integrating multi-vendor solutions with extensive knowledge high uptime architectures. Apply both business and technical insights to the development of deliverables. Gather business requirements and objectives for clients new network design. Clear communication skills with network engineers and client executive management. Work closely with client management to determine business process and productivity needs and an appropriate technology strategy to support business goals. Analyze technical needs, requirements, and state of the network’s infrastructure design, integration, and operations. Apply best practices to the design and suggested phased approach to implement the new design. Participate in selection of networking technologies and products for client’s implementation. Ability to work within design teams and mentor IT colleagues.
