Job Title: Sr. Sharepoint Developer Location: Miami, FL Duration: 1 Months Contract Must Haves: EXTREMELY strong with SharePoint, Must be local to Florida Job Description: The role will be a 'SharePoint designer'. The position requires a deep understanding of Sharepoint functionality, Sharepoint design tools, and 3rd party applications that can be easily integrated. The Global Trading desk is looking to better organize and more optimally design various Sharepoint sites across the global locations. The desk would like to expand the scope of its current deployment of Sharepoint and to leverage other webparts and functionality that will make information flow more interactive and intuitive to users. Users include traders, securities analysts, portfolio managers, trading assistants, senior executives, and other operational support teams within FTI. The candidate will need to be able to work in an open environment with traders and other stakeholders where design and development can be dynamically collaborative. The candidate will need to be able to be creative in their approach to taking requirements and implementing a vision as efficiently as possible. While Global Trading Sharepoint sites are heavily used as an alerting tool for investment research personnel, they would like to re-organize the sites in order to make them more collaborative vs. informational.
