Job Title: Release Engineer Location: Wilmington, DE Duration: 6 +months The client is looking for a mid-level Release Manager or a mid-level PM type with SDLC exposure or some former position in Development, or Configuration Management. The candidate will be responsible for the following: •Promoting the highest level of quality in all technology releases by managing the end to end release process. •Conducting and/or participating in weekly release meetings with Technology stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the monthly releases. •Monitoring the progress of all release items and articulating the current status and any potential delays to the key stakeholders in both formal reviews and one on one conversation. •Performing post release process reviews to identify all inefficiencies and deficiencies in the release process with the goal of continuous process improvement. •Communicating inefficiencies and deficiencies related to the process to the process or implementation owner. •Monitoring items that are entered into Quality Centered to ensure plans are attached and resources are assigned. •Providing updates to all impacted areas of the Release and ensure impacted areas obtain required information to process assigned tasks •Providing steady state education to process users when requested or when circumstances indicate that education would improve process execution.
