Job Role Summary Plans, conducts, and coordinates configuration and extension of Oracle E-Business applications and business solutions that support healthcare insurance business processes. Analyzes, designs, integrates Oracle E-Business applications to provide business solutions and processes. Offer deep knowledge of configuring and enhancing the Oracle E-Business product suite including Oracle Financials, Oracle CRM, Oracle HRMS and other associated product modules. Candidates for this role must possess an ability to analyze and implement business solutions leveraging Oracle E-Business applications and services, Oracle E-Business extension technologies (including but not limited to OAF/APEX/PLSQL), Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Web Focus, and OBIEE. The position requires extensive documentation of program development and analysis of capabilities designed to resolve business requirements utilizing the Oracle E-Business suite and associated third party and surround systems. This role requires the integration of Oracle E-Business suite applications solutions in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment including identification and definition of output requirements, input data acquisition. The position will be involved in coordinating the most complex Oracle software development and implementation issues that arise in production environments. The person in this role will be expected to influence and set technical direction. This position will report to an Oracle E-Business team lead with dotted line to the E-Business architect and Project managers. The developer will work on various project assignments as specified. Projects will follow the Agile / Scrum methodology. The role is 30% functional and 70% technical Job Profile Summary Typically, the Sr. Specialist II level is considered a subject matter expert for specialized programs, systems, technologies, or processes. Designs, specifiies, implements, documents and maintains automated and manual systems of the highest complexity. Works with customers to identify opportunities, determine requirements, develop and evaluate alternative solutions, create solution specifications, develop conversion plans and create operational procedures. Works with vendors to create and assess integration approaches and address complex technical issues. Mentors other technical leaders and less-experienced staff in process, software design principles, and technologies. Provides technical leadership to multiple technical teams, and works closely with Project Managers and Delivery Managers. Creates and reviews cost and resource estimates related to proposed system designs. Involved in coordinating the most complex software development issues that arise in production environments. Influences and can set technical direction. Must be able to independently lead complex projects. Maintains leading edge technical knowledge on emerging technical products and solutions appropriate to the current assignment and possesses a full command of the tools and processes that contribute to a 'best practice' software development. The primary difference between a Sr Specialist I and Sr Specialist II is breadth of knowledge, ability to lead leaders, and depth of knowledge in processes, principles and technologies Required Skills - Demonstrated ability to provide design leadership and execution of Oracle E-Business solutions based on a combination of application configuration, application extensions, and data integration including third party applications. - 8+ years of technical experience with Oracle E-Business applications including PL/SQL - 6+ years experience with Oracle Financial Applications (E-Business) including: General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Purchasing - 5+ years experience in Flex-fields, Multi-org, MRC, TCA and other data model concepts of Oracle Applications - 5+ years experience in the identification of problem areas, development of alternatives and implementation of creative business solutions - Ability to earn "Trusted Advisor" status with client team leads and client management.
