Job description: Qualified candidate will design and develop OLTP and decision support database(s). Write SQL & PL/SQL packages and procedures. Minimum Requirements/ Must Have: 5 plus years experience in PL/SQL, SQL tuning, SQLDR, Oracle architecture Good understanding of data warehouse( Dimensional Model ) and OLTP architecture methodologies. 1 Year Minimum of experience in Informatica ETL development. Working Knowledge of Unix shell scripting Demonstrated Experience in being a Single contributor and thought leader throughout the development effort without continuous direct task management by a team/project lead. Additional Competencies/Preferred: Minimum 3 yrs of Banking Domain experience (software development of banking software products). Role Responsibilities Coding, Testing, Code Review: Understand client's requirements at group and sub-department level. Plan, develop and deliver applications or components from technical specifications and design documents. Plan and conduct successful unit, performance, system, integration and acceptance testing. Plan and conduct code reviews, and incorporate lessons into work practices. Work Scope Management: Independent responsibility for the design, coding, unit testing and technical documentation for an application or application components Ownership of application component design and contribute to overall application architecture Risk Management: Extend awareness of risks associated with application development and of their potential impacts within IT, on the business, and on the firm's reputation. Incorporate risk planning and mitigation into work efforts at the project level.
