Define and design necessary database structures, policies, procedures, operational guidelines, and reliability features. Document all necessary configurations, processes, and policies, for both usage and administration. Upgrade and update installed systems, processes, and documentation as necessary. Establish and maintain MySQL database security. Tune MySQL database performance. Monitor MySQL database operations and resources. Perform regular audits of data to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Troubleshoot database problems, and recover from corrupt data. Specify new hardware and software as required for proper operations and growth. Create, maintain, and document Unix shell scripts to automate repetitive or complex administrative tasks. Provide reports as required on database content. Design and implement web-based interfaces to retrieve and view database content. Coordinate with other team members to ensure proper operations *
