Role: .net application architect (finance background is must) Duration: 6 months Location - Boston Industry – Financial *Primary Job Functions:* - The primary function of this position is to provide architectural guidance, technological recommendations, and transition strategies that support the development and implementation of initiatives for large, complex projects *Required Skills:* - BS in CS, EE, CE or related technical field. Advanced degree preferred - 10+ years of application development experience with at least 5 years of .Net application development experience - 7+ years of .Net experience in C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET, COM with experience using .NET 3.0/3.5 frameworks (including Windows Communication Foundation and Workflow Foundation) - Previous experience as a Lead application architect on multiple large-scale product or custom application design projects - Strong analytical and problem solving skills and excellent written and verbal communications skills - Broad knowledge of multiple technologies, application frameworks, and design patterns - In-depth understanding of full life cycle software engineering processes, tools, utilities, methodologies - Fluent in database design/re-design, both in new and existing models *Desirable Skills:* - Experience in application rationalization and reverse engineering processes is a major plus - Experience working with financial services industry applications is also a major plus - Microsoft certifications are highly desirable -- Thanks & Regards...
