Position: HP Unix Admin
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Duration: 6 Months
Ideally looking for a local candidate. If not need to be able to face to
face after phone interview.
I've got a short term platform migration project and I need some high-end
technical talent. It's a project to migrate an Oracle (non-SAP) environment
from Alpha Tru64 to HPUX Integrity platforms. It's probably a 2-3 month
project for the UNIX person. It will start as soon as I can get some talent
in. The environment consists of 28 databases. Some are 10g, but most are
still 9i. We had an initial migration so we've got 4 on the integrity side
already. My team has the talent but not the time. We'll be involved but I
need some senior people who can prescribe what has to happen, detail the
steps involved and act as a technical consultant to us and our customer. I
already have a project manager to handle the project administration. The
individuals we're looking for need to have these skills/experiences:
UNIX:
Hpux 11v2 and 11v3 installation
Hpux upgrades
Hpux service guard clusters
Veritas Cluster file systems
EVA storage arrays
Tru64 UNIX familiarity
