Position: Business Objects with Informatica and Oracle Duration: 6 month contract Location: New York City, NY $45 - $50 Description: Ø Fluent in both relational and dimensional data modeling concepts: data modeling strategies, normalization, index efficiency analysis, drawbacks and inappropriate uses of various modeling techniques Ø Strong Oracle skills are a must Ø Strong ETL (Informatica) experience is required Ø Strong Business Intelligence (Business Objects) experience is required. Candidate should be well versed in universe/metadata design, how & when to integrate at the API-level, and effective use of delivery platforms like WEBI Ø At least 4 years of current experience with Business Objects Designer & Reporter, Informatica Designer, Workflow Manager & Workflow Monitor Ø At least 4 years of experience with Oracle RDBMS 9i or higher Ø At least 4 years in Data-modeling Ø Highly proficient in SQL and PL/SQL programming Ø Highly proficient in Unix shell scripting, Toad/SQL Navigator, Erwin Ø Some securities industry experience Preferred Skills: Ø Familiarity with XML and XSLT and Weblogic is a plus.
