These responsibilities include: * *Daily operation, systems programming, and production support of the* *Mainframe VTAM/SNA, TCPIP, Netview, Connect: Direct(NDM) with Secure Plus, and Netview Access software and hardware components* *Connectivity between the mainframe and server platform* *Mainframe security software maintenance* *Participation in disaster recovery planning and exercises* *Participation in of 24x7 system support * *Strong knowledge of customization, implementation and troubleshooting of: * *TCP/IP, VTAM, JES2, Netview, System SSL, file transfer protocols especially NDM and FTP, OSPF. Experience in Advanced Networking Concepts (TCP/IP, Routing, Firewalls, Network Security, Enterprise Extender, APPN)* *Technical Knowledge:* Bachelors degree plus 8 years experience in *IBM mainframe systems*programming. Experience in mainframe networking, *VTAM, SNA, and TCP/IP*. *IBM z/OS *operating system experience preferred. Problem determination and production support skills in a z/OS or OS/390 environment. Experienced in IBM and ISV product installation, customization, and support, using IBM SMP/E and UNIX system services. APPN, Connect:Direct(NDM), FTP & OSPF experience a plus. Computer Associates (CA) Top Secret security administration a plus.
