QUALIFICATIONS: • 7 to 10 years of overall hands-on software development experience with Java (4 years) and/or OOP technologies including delivery of service oriented solutions (Web Services, etc.). • 3 to 4 years of SOA architecture experience a major plus in Web Services, OWL, Integration and data sharing. • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and methodologies, standard operating procedures, such as, DoDAF (DoD Architecture Framework) and IDEF (Integrated Definition Language) is a major plus. • Must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or better. • Must be a US Citizen able to obtain and retain a Secret Clearance, preferred active Secret Clearance. • Good oral and written communication skill. • Working experience with DoD GCSS, NCES or NETCENTS is a major plus. * * *RESPONSIBILITIES:* • Establishing the technical direction for the company • Providing technical leadership to the OPG • Assisting is marketing DovèlTech to senior Government executives •Assist various customers with respect to SOA strategy and implementation Will be responsible for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and the development of SOA strategies and roadmaps for DoD customers and various projects. Will be responsible for developing a formal enterprise architecture framework and driving the collaborative development of the technology strategy for information integration, which includes the technical solutions, technology standards (i.e. data sharing, globalization), roadmaps, and practices. Performs research, evaluation and/or provides recommendation for new alternative solutions and technologies to enable and improve data integration across the enterprise. Proposes technical solutions for information architecture development, metadata management, master data management, data profiling and quality management, and enterprise data integration. Serves as a central point of contact for enterprise information integration issues and develops enterprise architecture artifacts including current state architecture, target state architecture, architectural roadmaps, referential architecture patterns, and technology standards. Functions as a solutions architect within the pre-project phases of an Information Technology (IT) program including the development and/or overseeing future state designs encompassing technology, solution, information, and business architectures. Contributes to the overall alignment of IT delivery to the needs of the business. Develops business, information, technical, and solution specification documentation.
