Location: Portland OR Rate: upto 52.00/hr to US [READ requirement, this is two in one, Database + Web Developer] Position: Database Developer This is an opportunity to work in an dynamic fast paced environment focusing on delivering innovative consumer digital solutions. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years experience in a developer (database & web applications) & support role with exposure to consumer facing internet applications. Looking for candidates with a keen sense of learning and aptitude to use innovative approaches to solving complex business problems. Willing to work in a flexible environment, playing different roles at different times. -Oracle - SQL , PLSQL -Unix Shell scripting -Developing backend solutions using SQL or relevant tools for reports, data extractions, feeds, batch programs etc. -Web Application Development - HTML, CSS, Java, Flash. May play developer role to help out teams as and when needed. - 2 years Exp -Application Operations support -Working with support teams & external partners/vendors to identify & troubleshoot issues. - 1 Year of Exp -Exposure to consumer facing web based applications. Minimum 5+ - 7 years of total IT expertise. Minimum 3 years experience working on Oracle databases. Should be experienced in developing set based data processing programs using PLSQL & advanced/optimal SQL approaches. Should be experienced with translating business requirements for data visibility and developing backend reporting. Strong query tuning and performance tuning experience is desired. Strong troubleshooting skills to identify production issues and lead to quick resolutions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work directly with the business to translate requirements into optimal technical solutions.
