*This position is not for a straight up AIX System Administrator; candidate needs to have a strong background in AIX design/implementation.* * * *Project Synopsis* *Responsible for the engineering planning, design, implementation, and operation of Unix and Windows Midrange computing platforms for n-Tier application architectures. Responsibilities include research and development of new technology and engineering best practices, as well as the implementation of complex and comprehensive solutions for enterprise and Line of Business applications.* * * *Requirements:* · AIX/Solaris system administration · SUN/Fujitsu and IBM P-series hardware · AIX/Solaris Virtualization · Clustering · Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas Cluster System · SAN, NAS · The requested resource should have a strong background designing and building AIX system utilizing AIX virtualization and HACMP.** · This person should also be familiar with Solaris on Sun and Fujitsu hardware to facilitate any possible solutions or migrations and to be effective with their support duties.** Lastly, the person should have a thorough understanding of SAN/NAS technologies (including EMC DMX, Clariion, and HDS) in order to effectively participate in storage designs insuring that it performs well and meet customer expectations -- Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
