Must have active secret clearance
Must have at least a bs degree with computer science, or engineering, must
be extremely self motivated, would prefer MS degree
10-15 years in the defense industry developing software applications
Would prefer someone who has acted as a group leader or a project manager
Minimum Requirements:
5-10 Years software development exp with GPS systems
5-10 Years exp with the development exp within the aerospace industry
BS or MS degree in computer science or any engineering discipline
Active Secret Clearance a must
Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements. Description:
EXP with develop software for a GPS and Navigational development projects
for reentry body applications, or unmanned vehicle applications ( like
drones and satellite communication devices) and small beacon soldiers
systems and tags. Also be responsible for giving presentations to a large
audience of technical contributors and must be able to a lead the project
from initial conception to finished product.
Position requires an M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or
Aeronautics / Astronautics with a minimum of 7 years of technical leadership
experience for GPS and navigation systems development. The qualified
candidate will have prior project management experience and a background in
GPS systems and operations, navigation systems, integration of GPS with INS,
and Kalman filtering. Experience in marketing of technical research and
development projects is also desirable.
