Job Description:.Net developer
This is a 3 month contract to perm role
Location in Richmond VA.
They need a 4 year guy.
Rate: $43
1) Job Description: HIE is in need of strong .Net Developers
a. Applicant will be a member of the HIE Technology staff supporting ACS/Xerox.
b. This position will also include working in collaboration with developers in
other groups to ensure that the applications adhere to corporate standards and
technologies.
c. The candidate will be expected to follow standard development methodologies
and practices.
d. Analysis, design and architecture, development, and implementation of new
initiatives using C#.
e. Support of HIE distributed applications including on-call production
support.
2) Job Requirements:
a. Experience with MVC, MVVP, & Entity Framework experience, SQL Server,
Microsoft development technologies with 4+ years experience using C# .NET, WCF
and an understanding of HTTP, HTML, JavaScript are required.
b. Full system lifecycle experience required including development, test, and
implementation of highly robust and reliable solutions.
c. Good verbal and written English communication skills.
d. Team player attitude and must demonstrate an understanding of OO principles
and practices.
e. 8+ years overall IT experience including database development, architecture
and design, and distributed applications development.
f. Candidate must be able to contribute in all layers of development, testing
and implementation.
g. Component & Object Oriented Development and an ability to understand and
write UML models is preferred.
h. Experience with BizTalk and/or SQL report development is a plus.
i. 2+ years health industry experience is an advantage.
j. Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related IT experience required.
