*Mobile Development Resources: *
- *Project Details:* Developer resources will be responsible
for new development and enhancements for our Registration Application –
This application will be rolled out to participating Shell sites and/or
used in the field to register customers for our FRN program. The resources
will be responsible for development, enhancements and maintenance for our
mobile products (Apple & Android). Business Requirements have been
gathered by our Product Management team - The Development resources can
expect rapid coding, but will be involved with some planning and design.
- *Skill Set:* Candidates need to have experience in both
Android & IOS Mobile Platforms - A lot of the development will be
front-end, but some back-end – Candidates need to be well-rounded.
Experience with Agile processes.
- *Soft Skills: *Excellent communication skills – Need to be
able to articulate technical matters in verbal and written form as they
will be responsible for developing and documenting mobile standards. In
addition, they must be able to communicate to technical teams and various
nontechnical business teams.
- *Project Team Information:* 2 Contract Development
Resources, 1 Contract QA Tester Resource, 1 Internal Developer, 2 Internal
Architects – Total Size: 6
- *Length of Project:* 15 Weeks – There is a possibility of the
project getting extended or the opportunity to convert.
*Mobile Development Requirements:*
· 10 years of IT experience (Must)
· 5+ years mobile software development
· 5+ years other software development
· Java, Objective C, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
· Android Native, at least APIs 10-19
· Android Activity Lifecycle
· IOS experience
· UX expertise
· Experience using agile processes
· Unified Mobile Dev Platform Experience (such as Titanium)
· Networking/communications experience: Web Services, SOAP, JSON, XML
· Database knowledge: SQL, Database Structure
