Please find the below requirement with one of my direct client and if interested then do share your updated copy of resume along with the contact details ASAP. *Role: Network Admin (L2/L3 Support)Location: Hopkins, MN/Kansas City, MO* *Job Type: Contractual/Temporary* *Duration: 12 months* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* *PREFERRED SKILLS:* • Thorough knowledge on advanced TCP/IP concepts, switching, routing protocols Layer 2, Layer 3 protocols. • Should have expertise in Designing, Configuring, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and optimizing Cisco Nexus 7K,5K,2K, 6500, catalyst series switches, Cisco F5 Load Balancer LTM and GTM, Infoblox, Cisco WAAS WAN Accelerator etc. • Expertise in Cisco Nexus technologies like vPC, VDC etc. • Strong understandings of DCI (Data Center Interconnect) using FabricPath • Excellent knowledge and experience of Cisco Network Security, Checkpoint, ASA firewalls and other models • Strong understanding of MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Multicast, ipv6, DWDM, SONET, Metro Ethernet, LAN/WAN network design, configuration, and troubleshooting • Good understandings of SAN Technologies (FC, FCoE, NPV, NPIV, FSPF, iSCSI, etc.). • Ability to design a Large Scale Enterprise Network using Cisco recommended best practices. • Working knowledge of Incident/Problem/Change Management frameworks such as ITIL v3, TQM or ISO 9000:2000 (certification not required, but is a plus). *Roles & Responsibilities:* • Responsible for troubleshooting, installing, implementing, and administering network systems and providing tier II and tier III support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Solution, Designing, Monitoring, Integration, Support/Maintenance and Architecture. • Understand Customer business deployment needs and design solutions building Enterprise Networks (LAN/WLAN/WAN/Datacenter). • Conduct short and long term planning to meet network requirements. • Design and implement network systems.
