USG direct client is looking for a SENIOR Cognos Architect / Developer that is proficient with the full SDLC and proficient with framework modeling and complex reporting. Candidate needs to be self-motivated and able to excel in a fast-paced environment. Should have the ability to prioritize and work concurrently on multiple tasks. Should have the ability to create value-added relationships with project team, business team members and other IT teams both at the executive and technology levels.
• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology • Sr. Consultant with a minimum of 8 years of experience • Experience with the Cognos 10.X SDK is a must • Strong data modeling, data architecture and analytical skills • Strong SQL skills, including performance analysis • Experienced in designing and developing standard reporting and ad-hoc reporting environments • Expert in architecting Cognos multi-dimensional cube solutions • Able to design and implement a robust security architecture which will include both row level security and object security • Experienced in performance management and best practices for Cognos reporting and modeling • Expert in developing Framework Manager models by leveraging Cognos recommended design techniques • Hands-on Experience in Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the development teams, management and business users • Ability to assign development tasks and monitor, improve, and report on the Cognos development process / progress • Experience in mentoring other Cognos developers • Experienced with Cognos based work estimates and work planning • Strong background in analytics and data mining is a big plus • Good understanding of KPIs, statistics and forecasting within insurance business context is a plus *Please share your updated resume at* *gunja...@usgrpinc.com <gunja...@usgrpinc.com>* *or feel free to contact me at 614-588-8766* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-HRMS-India" group.
