USG direct client is looking for *Teradata/ETL Developers *at *New York City or Washington DC*
*Length: 2 year contract* *Description*: · Develop and maintain thorough business knowledge of source data in Enterprise Data Warehouse · Perform source target mapping in support of report and warehouse technical designs · Implement business driven requirements using Informatica · Work closely with cross functional business and business intelligence teams to document ETL requirements and turn those requirements into ETL jobs · Conduct ETL performance tuning, troubleshooting, support, and capacity estimation · Develop, adhere to, and be a proponent for Data Warehouse development standards, including ETL standards and best practices *Required Skills*: · Teradata 13 experience: · Teradata Utilities: Fast Load, Mload, Fast Export, Bteq · Should be *strong* in Teradata SQL, *experience writting stored procedures - MUST HAVE*! · Informatica 9 experience: · Strong in Informatica development · Familiar working with Teradata external loaders · Calling stored procedures through Informatica · SQL Server: Working experience or good knowledge with SQL Server · Unix: Very strong in Unix shell scripting(must),scheduling jobs using CRON TAB, Unix commands.
