*Job Description:* The Data Quality Lead reports to the Data Governance Manager in the Data Governance Office (DGO) and is responsible for the DQ processes and monitoring to ensure Data Quality across FD. This role does not own the data or data values, but is expected to introduce, promote and manage procedures which lead to high quality data. The Data Quality Lead is in a ‘Project Manager’ position for DQ efforts, making decisions and monitoring remediation efforts more than actually executing data quality processes. S/he leads and directs Data Quality Analysts and Tool Specialists for executing DQ issue remediation and DQ monitoring activities. This role works with IT project teams, owners of applications and systems, Meta-data Lead, members of Data Stewardship Community, and representatives of other compliance efforts. The individual filling the role could have a business, IT or hybrid background. *Job Specific Responsibilities * Provide a single point of contact for coordination of data quality initiatives for the data domain(s). Directs Data Quality Analysts and Data Quality Tool Specialist to develop and produce scheduled data quality reports, to execute data quality and to perform clean-up activities. Works with Data Quality Analysts and Data Quality Tool Specialist in the development and maintenance of Data Quality framework and related processes to execute data quality at FD. Works with Data Stewards in the resolution of data quality issues, root cause and remediation and assists in the development and management of data quality metric reporting. Identify SMEs and decision-makers to participate in DQ Issue impact analysis and issue resolution processes Support management and DGO members in their Organizational Change efforts required to integrate Data Governance within FDC Business Units and Functions Work with IT project teams (e.g. Data Warehouse/ MDM projects) to plan for infrastructure efficiencies, data linkage and cleansing to ensure implementation of remediation process Set expectations for the Data Stewardship Community regarding Data Quality and controls efforts. Collaborate with the Data Stewards for quality of all of the key data elements for the data domain Perform auditing as required of Data Quality controls or directed by DGO Responsible for working with data stewards for providing Data Quality metrics and scorecards for respective data domain(s) to BU Data Leadership Council. *Candidate Requirements: * Understanding of the FD Organization as a whole Understanding of when to involve cross-organizational stakeholders for data quality issues Understanding of all Data Quality roles and responsibilities Basic understanding of DQ metrics/reporting tools Strong leadership skills and facilitation skills; - Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Good understanding of Business Data Domains Business Definitions and Data Quality Rules: Merchant, Product, Financial, Sales etc *Additional Skills:* Relationship Building - Will be required to build personal network of business relationships across many different departments, functional and geographic areas Some Travel Required, 25%.
